October marks the celebration of the international, month-long observance of LGBTQ2S+ History Month, an opportunity to recognize LGBTQ2S+ role models, foster conversation and understanding, and highlight the contributions of folks in this unique and diverse community.

Douglas College Library is excited to announce plans for our third book talk focusing on LGBTQ2S+ authors and voices on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm via Zoom. This event will be an opportunity for all attendees to learn about and recommend great reads by LGBTQ2S+ authors in our Douglas College Library collection. See below for confirmed books and book talkers:

This event is open to everyone including Douglas College students, employees, and alumni.

After the lightning book talks, we’ll have a discussion with all the attendees, allowing any and all to share a book they’re reading or have read with others.

Please email Alex at dobrea@douglascollege.ca if you have any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you!
