Douglas College welcomed Tracy London as the new Executive Director, Foundation and Alumni Relations on January 19, 2021.
London brings over 15 years of experience in higher education philanthropy and alumni engagement, including roles as both Executive Director of Campaigns and Director of Advancement at Simon Fraser University and as Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Engagement at the University of British Columbia.
“The Executive Director of Foundation and Alumni Relations plays a vital role in helping our students succeed, both as they come into the College and as they head out into their careers,” says Dave Taylor, Vice President of Public Affairs at Douglas College. “Tracy’s leadership and expertise offers an exciting addition to the team, increasing the breadth and depth of engagement with alumni, the College community and donors who want to help our students achieve their goals.”
In addition to her experience in the public post-secondary sector, London also has more than 20 years of experience in community organizing. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fresh Roots Urban Farm Society, a non-profit dedicated to growing communities and empowering kids and youth to grow, learn and lead on schoolyard farms in Vancouver, Coquitlam and Delta.
London holds a Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law) and Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria.

Douglas College Foundation and Alumni Relations is dedicated to supporting learning, reducing financial barriers and recognizing student success as students transition to becoming valued alumni. In 2020, the Foundation worked in partnership with donors and stakeholders to source over $600,000 in support for emergency bursaries at Douglas College, one of the largest emergency funds in the province helping students impacted by COVID-19.
