The Alumni Bursary is distributed three times per year to Douglas College alumni who are pursuing further post-secondary education at an institution of their choice.
Bursary application deadlines
Fall - November 1
Winter - March 1
Summer - June 1
- Returning students who have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and have completed 45 or more credits of the university transfer program at Douglas College or a student who has completed a set program of studies at Douglas College.
- Provide proof of registration (i.e., unofficial transcripts/certifications or a receipt of payment of courses to be taken from the educational institution that you will be attending).
- Evidence of community service (i.e., letter of reference and support).
- Demonstrated financial need.
The Alumni Association Board shall make the selection of the student(s). Please submit your application by mail or in person to the Douglas College Alumni Relations office by the due date.
