Student Elections – College Board and Education Council
Once elected, term of office commences September 1, 2019 and ends August 31, 2020.
An election will be conducted to fill TWO seats for students on College Board. The student representatives will be elected from the students at large.
An election will be conducted to fill FOUR seats for students on Education Council. The student representatives will be elected from the students at large. At least one elected student is from the Coquitlam campus and one is from the New Westminster campus.
A Student is defined as “a person the Registrar recognizes to be enrolled and in good standing in a course or program of studies at the institution”.
Important Upcoming Dates
Nomination Period – March 5-20
Voting Period – March 21-April 2
Each candidate is required to act reasonably, responsibly and in good faith; and shall be required to ensure they are aware of and comply with, all rules, policies and procedures of the College. Once elected to the College Board or Education Council, members are expected to act in the best interests of the institution.
