Trish Rosseel will join Douglas College as the new Director of Learning Resources and Records Management. She brings 20 years of experience in higher education to the role, including time with the University of Alberta, Simon Fraser University, and the University of British Columbia.
“The appointment of Trish Rosseel supports the continued legacy of collaborative work within Learning Resources, and across Douglas College. Trish’s multifaceted experience and focus on student experience is a terrific fit,” says Sarah Dench, Associate Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Rosseel brings to Douglas College a deep understanding of post-secondary systems and library operations in different jurisdictions, coupled with strong leadership experience and a record of successful projects that improve services, spaces and systems.
Her academic background includes a B.A. (hons) from Queen’s University and a Master’s in Library Science from Syracuse University. Rosseel will start her new position at the college on November 27.
