Douglas College wordmark

Research Day image

Douglas College Research Day is a great opportunity for students to showcase their hard work and discoveries from an individual or group research project.  Students set up an interactive booth with their research displayed on a poster board. The experience also gives students the opportunity to hone their presentation and public speaking skills.

At the event in 2016, over 35 groups participated from a variety of disciplines around the College including Psychology, History, Business, Biology, Sport Science, Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, and Chemistry.

Ask your instructor about opportunities to share your research!

The 2017 event will be held at both campuses:

Friday, April 7th 3:30pm - 5:30pm at the New Westminster campus

Monday, April 10th 9:00am - 11:00am at the Coquitlam campus.

Cash prizes of $500, $300 and $200 will be awarded at both events as well as surprise draws for participants.
