Future Professional Pilots

Are you ready to achieve your dreams at 40,000 feet? The aviation industry is growing, and professional pilots are retiring, creating a strong demand for new people to get their wings. With the Associate of Arts for Future Professional Pilots program, you'll get the skills you need to become a commercial pilot.

This full-time, 60-credit program includes courses closely related to the aviation industry. The program includes geography courses relating to climate and weather, as well as psychology courses and up to three related business courses.

The flight training portion of the program is offered by the Professional Flight Centre at Boundary Bay Airport. You'll get enough flight experience to obtain your Commercial Pilot License and Multi-engine Instrument Rating in two years.

How is the Future Professional Pilots program different from other professional pilot programs?

If moving into a bachelor's degree is more your speed, you can apply all the credits you get from this program to transfer to a Bachelor of Arts program at another institution. So even if you decide flying isn't for you, you'll be halfway to a bachelor's degree.
